We Stand With You

We can not turn a blind eye.

Let's face it. What happened in Minneapolis is not an isolated incident. We all see it happen year after year. This time, however, America has spoken, and loudly.

We at Sports Plaza stand with the peaceful protesters in our community speaking out against the unjust death of George Floyd, and the many others before him.

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Until we can all come together as the human race to demand change, the status quo will not be affected. We are proud of our community for speaking out against the wrongs of our society, and letting our officials and leaders hear our voices. It is our right and our duty to do so.

While nothing can change what has already come to pass, we hope for a better future where we can all learn to put aside our inherent biases and respect the person standing in front of us for the human being that they are. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Floyd family and the millions of others in mourning. Let's make our voices heard, together
